Casa dei Ciliegi is an ancient post station overlooking the Naviglio Martesana, a navigable canal that connects the Adda river with Milan, wanted by the Sforza family in 1457 and completed in 1496. The building was part of the Convent of the Padri Minimi of S.Francesco from Paola, present in that area from 1630 up to the middle of the 1800s, and owes its name to a large cherry tree inside the old convent building.
